Smoky Mountain Fiber Arts Festival


Exhibit Dates: March 17- March 20th,  2011

All art must be brought to Townsend Visitors Center on March 10th 10am-4pm. Or call to make arrangements. Art will be judged and show will be hung on March 16th.

 Title:  Annual Smoky Mountain Fiber Arts Festival Call for Entries

Venue: Fish Lady & Friends Gallery in Townsend, Tn and Visitors Center in Townsend ,TN

Awards: $100 Best in Show, more prizes concurrent with # of entries.

Juror: Mary K. Jenkins

Eligibility: This exhibit is open to any artist 18 years old and above living within the United States. Works must be original, completed withing the last 3 years, and has never been exhibited at Smoky Mountain Fiber Arts festival. Art pieces must be Fiber Art. If you have any questions call or email. Each artist may submit up to three pieces of art per entry.

Fees: $10 payable by cash or check. Make cheks payable to Smoky Mountain Fiber Arts Festival.

Commission: Smoky Mountain Fiber Arts Festival retains 30% of all sales

3rd Annual Kite Festival
Kite-Painting Competition

Exhibit Dates: April 1st - April 10th,  2011

All art must be brought to Fine Arts Blount no later than Friday, April 1st, 11am-6pm. Call to make arrangements if before the 1st. Winners will be announced at the Kite Festival, April 10th.

Venue: ArtSpace at Fine Arts Blount, Downtown Maryville
 & Pearson Springs Park, Maryville (on the 10th of April)

Awards: TBA

Eligibility: This exhibit is open to any artist 18 years old and above, living within the United States. Kites must not have been entered before. If you have any questions, call or email.
